Corona del Mar is Newport Beach: the village at its southern end, a few minutes down East Coast Highway from Fashion Island and Newport Center. If you're searching for reformer Pilates in Newport Beach, chances are we're closer to you than most of what comes up, and calmer than all of it.
Root is a second-floor studio, not a storefront franchise. Seven reformers, a rack of Bodhi Suspension Ropes, and instructors who treat an hour of your time as something to be earned.
Why Seven, Not Twenty-Five
The Case for Small
Newport Beach does not lack Pilates. There are franchise studios with a dozen reformers, gyms with mat classes of twenty-five, and boutique concepts opening every season. What is genuinely hard to find is a room where the instructor watches all of you, for the whole hour.
We cap every class at seven because attention does not scale. In a class of twelve, correct form is your job. In a class of seven, it is ours: spring settings chosen for your body, exercises modified around your history, progress noticed and pushed week over week.
That is also why people stay. You are not a headcount in a heated room. You are the reason the class was capped.

- From Fashion Island / Newport Center: down MacArthur to East Coast Highway, a few minutes south.
- From Balboa Island: over the bridge and down PCH.
- From Newport Coast / Crystal Cove: a few minutes north on PCH.

The studio is on the second floor; the entrance is on the East Coast Highway side. Street parking is available in the Village.
