Before You Come

What to Prepare

Just Show Up

No equipment to bring. No Pilates socks required. Wear comfortable athletic clothing. Bring a water bottle.

Arrive Early

Plan to arrive early before your first class. We'll get you set up. Parking is available in our lot and on the street.

Parking

Street parking is available along East Coast Highway. There is also a parking lot accessible from the rear of the building.

Once parked, enter the building and head to the 2nd floor.

When You Arrive

What Happens Next

10 min before

Check In

Head to the 2nd floor and introduce yourself. Your instructor will greet you, show you where to put your things, and walk you to your reformer.

5 min before

Get Set Up

Your instructor will walk you through setting up your reformer's springs and headrest. They'll explain the basics: how to use the foot bar, carriage, and straps, so nothing feels unfamiliar when class starts.

Class begins

Warm-Up

Class starts with a focused warm-up to activate your core and prepare your entire body for a full-body workout.

10 min in

Targeted Work

The main block. You'll move through sequences targeting different muscle groups. Expect clear cues, hands-on corrections when needed, and progressions if you're ready for more challenge.

Last 5-10 min

Cool-Down & Stretch

Class winds down with stretches on the reformer. Your instructor may offer suggestions for your next class.

After class

You're Done

Clean your reformer with the provided wipes, grab water, and you're free to go. If you want to chat about class options or memberships, your instructor is happy to help.

Quick Tips

No experience needed

We meet you where you are. Your instructor will modify exercises up or down based on your ability.

Start with Root Reformer

If you're new to Pilates, Root Reformer is the best first class. Full-body, approachable, and a great introduction to the equipment.

You won't be singled out

Your instructor will give you the same cues and corrections they give everyone. No spotlight, no pressure.

Soreness is normal

You'll likely feel muscles you didn't know you had within 24-48 hours. This is a good sign.

Cancellation policy

Cancel at least 12 hours before class to avoid a late cancellation fee. You can cancel directly through the Momence app.

Book through Momence

All booking is handled through Momence, either on our schedule page or by downloading the Momence app and searching for Root Fitness.
